When you’re diving into the deep end of enterprise software, the real magic doesn't happen with a blinking server light or a perfect line of code. Nope!
It all comes down to the handshake. Seriously. Whether a company is making the leap to SYSPRO 8 or getting cosy with Sage Intacct, they aren't just swiping a credit card for licenses; they’re signing up for a relationship. Here at Hooman, we're keenly aware that the 'vibe'—the shared trust, the blinding honesty, and the crystal-clear communication—is the actual secret sauce for a successful implementation.
Think of it as a software marriage, but hopefully less expensive and with fewer arguments about the remote control.
Most tech projects fail because of messy communication. A client thinks they’re getting one thing, while the vendor is building another. We prevent this by turning every proposal into a roadmap that a human can actually read.
We break down every project into distinct, manageable stages so there are no surprises:
By being this detailed, we turn a stressful transition into a predictable journey.
In our design work for the BT Partners platform, we wanted the visuals to feel as stable as their project management. We used 3D isometric animations to represent the "building blocks" of a successful project.
You can see this in our frame-by-frame animations:
This isn't just for show. It mirrors our "Secret Sauce" of prioritizing the value provided to the client above all else. When a client sees these visuals, they aren't just looking at icons; they are looking at how their business will be put back together, piece by piece.
Transparency also means talking about the "scary" stuff, like the budget and timeline. In our proposals, we provide budgetary estimates that are grounded in reality, not "best-case scenarios".
Everything we do is a reflection of why Todd Perlman started BT Partners in 1991. After seeing how unpleasant tech projects could be, he knew there was a better way. He built a team dedicated to being "one team" with the client.
Our Light UI design for the platform reflects this. It uses a clean, breathable layout that moves away from the "dark and heavy" feel of traditional finance tools. It’s a design for people, not just screens. It says: "We have nothing to hide, and we’re here to help you succeed."
The "Implementation Handshake" ends with the Go-Live Support. We stay on the line until the new system is humming and the team feels confident. Whether it’s converting custom form fields or validating ERP data in a new CRM environment, we don't consider the job done until the client feels that same sense of relief that Todd Perlman wanted to bring to the industry 30 years ago.
Ready for an implementation partner that tells the truth about scope and timelines?
This was Part 3 of our journey with BT Partners. You can follow the story from the beginning: Part 1 covers navigating the SYSPRO 8 upgrade, Part 2 dives into automating growth with Sage Intacct, and in Part 4 we explore ERP migration experience in motion.
